Services · Process improvement
Making the week shorter, not the paperwork bigger.
We look for the few changes that remove real effort, and leave the rest alone.
How we decide what is worth changing.
- Effort removed
- How many minutes a week the change takes out of somebody's work.
- Risk added
- What breaks if the new step is skipped for a fortnight.
- Reversibility
- Whether you can put the old arrangement back without losing data.
- Ownership
- The named person who keeps it running once we are gone.
What the deliverable looks like
A list, ordered by the ratio above. Each line names the step, the change, the effort it saves, the owner and the date it was agreed. Typically three to six lines.
We then carry the first ones through with you rather than leaving them as suggestions, because most process documents fail at exactly that point.
